I would appreciate it if you could tell me wether I can use 2 different models of thermal conductivity and viscosity for 1 nanofluid? consider the following as an example:
Nanofluid: CuO-Water
Thermal conductivity: Vijja and Das semi-empirical model
Dynamic viscosity: Namburu semi-empirical model

obviously you can use more than one model for a specific nanofluids. But, you have to make sure that the model is suitable for that particular nanofluid. For example:- Some models are applicable only to ethylene glycol based nanofluids,therefore you cant use them for water based nanofluids. And there are many models which are nanoparticles specific models.i.e the model is suitable only for CuO or Al2O3 nanoparticles. So,while selecting the model ,we must go through the constraints presented by the model.
But the two models which you will use may have large variation in thermal conductivity and viscosity predictions of nanofluids. Hence,validation of the predicted values through experiments is mandatory.

Yes, you can use different kind of models for the thermophysical properties of nanofluids. In fact, you can validate the theoretical model with the experimental values. The theoretical values which are best fitted with experimental values are chosen as best model for your nanofluid.

The most focussed model should emphasize on BROWNIAN MOTION.
1. Boltzman constant,
2. Zeta potential,
3. nanoparticle diameter,
4. thickness of interficial layer,
5. velocity of settling of the nanoparticles through kinetic theory,
6. volume concentration,
7. temperature.
Hence most of the experimental values can correlate with accuracy if you choose the models that cover up all the above said parameters.
