Hello, everyone. does anyone know what the difference between "bulk density" and "true density" of nanoparticles is? I am about to synthesize some nanofluids.
I'm not really sure if you still need this information. It may be useful for others though.
Tha main distinction between these two densities is that bulk density includes surface morphology or other factors (i.e. porosity, pore volume; or in case of carbon nanotubes - specific dimensional structure), and on the other hand, the true density neglects all these parameters.
Depending on what you want to do, you should select a proper density for your considerations.
