What differences between polar compound and organic compound? polar is like charge positive or negative such as phenolic compound. Meanwhile organic compound contained C and H molecules. Is there any relationship between polar and organic compound since phenolic also have C and H molecules? For example as file attached (refer page 3), water gave higher extraction yield compare with methanol and ethanol but contradictory with Total phenolic content (TPC) result gave the lowest value with water extraction
**Water is unsuitable solvent for extracting non-polar or organic compounds at such condition (Duba et al., 2015).
