Just a naive question.

I compared the IF of couple of journals and the SJR. I still don't get the real difference between the two. Furthermore I noticed that, in SJR, they provide a "cites/doc (2years). I thought that it would correspond to the IF but for some journal it is really different. Could someone simply explain to me these discrepancy?
