Did anyone do some experiment about gingival epithelial cells? And what method did you use to extract GECs from gingival samples?

I would like to establish a model that gingival epithelial cells and bacteria biofilm could be cultured together,however,the cells' price is so high that I could not afford them.Some of my friends told me that the method of extraction is not very good.Maybe We can use other cells instead of GECs.Do anybody have other good suggestins? I would be very grateful to all of you.
