There has been a new trend, few people have started following around. i.e. having a meal only twice in a day cycle and prevent the intake of anything in between those meals that is responsible for your insulin secretion. It is assumed that this will prevent the pancreatic beta cells from exertion thereby improve the metabolic parameters.
This is completely in contradiction to earlier concept of taking multiple meals in a day.
