ABSTRACT
In the 21st century , Environmental consciousness is too considered with how land usage and disforestation grows misappropriately to afforestation and causes damages to our earth. As industrialists are exploring smart industry and ecosystem engineers consider the safety of our environment. This led to thought of this discussion.
Nigeria has land area mass of 923,768km² and a population of 200,000,000 people and this led to thinking future safety and maximization of our land area as the population keep increase and land area mass remain the same.
As input towards the safety of our environment and maximization of productivity, Industrialist should thinking of a smart layout as consideration for industry 4.0 Smart layout is define a layout design to be reconfigurable with the aim of minimizing space without affecting production. With this space management we can have maintenance and operation section in the same plant or reducing space use in each plant. Having both process and product layout configure together will minimize running cost and have land mass which can use for other purposes such as afforestation.
This topic can an important topic in land use and management. This discussion allows suggestions in achieving a reconfigurable layout.
Please focus on land first and assess their priority level for the protection of nature.
Identify low risk area for nature, and assess factory needs as logistics: access roads, harbours, airports (transport hubs) minimising extra environmental cost.

@Muhammad Ali I know space needed for safety of operators but operators are now being non human (robots) in smart industries and j think reconfigure layout will reduce machines downtime. Possibility of reconfiguring upstream and downstream factory layout can help environmental safety.
