Thank you sir from above mentioned link it is clear that SO2 contributes indirectly for Green House Effect..like formation of O3 on ground level.. Is it right sir... 

You need to know the chemical structure of SO2, and its stretching and bending vibrations to know if it is green-house gas. All I am saying is that you need to know IR spectroscopy of atmospheric molecules.

Hope this gives an insight into what makes a green-house gas.
