I think this a difficult job. Cost-benefit and cost -effectiveness studies need careful acquisition of data on events, their exact costs and valid measurements of benefits. You cannot rely on information given here and there by individuals who might not have access to relevant data.  I think you may try to  contact specific hospitals who have good information systems on their cases and costs and request a set of data. Alternatively, direct contact with patients and their records.

As long as you are doing research, you need not only estimations and opinions from unofficial sources. This will be difficult to be accepted for publication in prestigeous journals. Even in the same country, like Jordan for example where I live, hospitals in the same sector charge different costs for the same procedure.

I may suggest to contact hospitals directly to get the estimates, however, the response rate could be less than anticipated.
