Thanks a lot for your answer. I knew that cited journals, but I do not how easily or are more receptive to admit papers based only in viticulture nowadays. Because all of them include topics from enology and viticulture and depend on the demand may be accepted some of one specific area.

Currently I heard well words about Ciencia Viticola (portuguese) with low index but very specific for vine and wine and i think is increasing their value. I will try to publish more in some of these papers.

Hi, I publish more in the enology journals so I am only familiar with those that do both enology and viticulture, The AJGWR and the AJEV are very much viticulture oriented nowadays, in particular the australian journal so you might want to give it a go.

I think you and Mateo have found the main journals publishing articles related to vineyard management. To reach a US practitioner audience, HortScience and HortTechnology work well. Since their target audience does not primarily publish research articles, the impact factors are low. You have to decide whom your papers should influence!

If you are doing grapevine biology, the Journal of Experimental Botany publishes excellent work. The newish online journal BMC Plant Biology published half a dozen nice grape papers this year, so that outlet could be worth a look as well. (it is expensive to publish if your institution is not a BMC member.)
