I am planing to inject Cas9 mRNA, sgRNA, and a DNA template into a fertilized mouse oocyte. If successful this will introduce a tag on my protein of interest. 

Now I am wondering; is the HDR efficiency different between the male and female pronuclei? And what are the epigenetic differences between male and female chromatin at the one-cell stage?
