I think the s.c. COVID 19 pandemic clinical manifestations (syndromas) have many different infective causes - Corona viruses (enteroviruses with many subtypes), othe viruses and bacterias! It is important for therapy - not only antiviral, than antibacterial (antibiotics), too !
The diagnostic tests targeted to once cause, are inadequate too!

Nikola Ilankovic - To try to answer the question you asked we should keep several important issues in mind. First, because the tests for the presence of the COVID-19 Virus rely on identification of the viral antigens, it is clear that this virus is present in those testing positive. Second, you may be asking about whether there may be additional pathogens present during COVID-19 disease and that these may be the cause of some of the symptoms is definitely a possibility (though I have not seen much about this yet). If a person test positive for the presence of the viral antigens, it is unlikely that other organisms are the full cause of the symptoms.

It seems to me that there are a few different sources of COVID 19. Otherwise, why its severity is different from a country to another!!!
Viral co-infections and secondary bacterial infections are frequent in respiratory viral infections. Their impact on COVID-19 needs to be investigated.
