The provision of safe water, sanitation and hygienic conditions is essential to protecting human health during all infectious disease outbreaks, including the COVID-19 outbreak. Ensuring good and consistently applied WASH and waste management practices in communities, homes, schools, marketplaces, prisons and health care facilities will further help to prevent human-to-human transmission of the COVID-19 virus. Very good question... we need to protect our soil and water from pollution
personal hygiene, biocide, detergent, water, soil, pollution, covid-19... all are creating a dynamic and we need to find what is the demand of time and how to prepare for better future
Usually even before Corona virus, a person uses detergents and disinfectants. Perhaps now some of the people overuse them, but they do not affect the environment, such as the influence of giant factories and factories.
They are not effectively related. Biocides use in context of corona virus is a very minor element of the biocide market and use will have de minimus subsequent discharge or impact in an environmenbtal context.
The primary biocide used is probaly ethanol as hand antiseptic - evaporated and a very minor source of VOC's in the atmosphere.
