Using only the transmission spectrum you will not be able to get the absorption spectrum. For manual recalculation, you also need a reference spectrum. Usually the conversion is easily done in the software of the device during the measurement or after. What format is your absorption spectrum?

Please check the classic book of Carvert & Pitts, Photochemistry.

Transmittance is defined as T= IT/I0, where IT means intensity of the transmitted light while I0 is the incident light intensity at a given wavelength.

Therefore, %T = 100* IT/I0 .

On the other hand, Absorbance is defined as A=log [I0/IT]=log [100*I0/(100*IT)]= 2- log %T (log stands for base 10 logarithms).

That is, given %T, the absorbance A may be easily obtained, and conversely

%T from %T=10^(2-A).
