I am currently studying works on olympic legacy in its urban aspects, especially concerning "non-infrastructural"..."soft" impacts of such a mega-events in its city. I would like to see more information on how local governments in the host (or candidate) cities approach this issue and how are this aspect integrated in the planning stage as well as post-olympic period. all the works and suggestions on post-olympic legacy issue will be greatly appreciated. They are about festivals but lots of impacts could be adapted to sports events, in the secodn article there is also example of research method which could be used to study the impact of events in the eyes of inhabitants of host area.

I study olympics lagacy of white water courses (canoe slalom). My topics research is touristic impact for city after mega-event. I published 4 articles about these urban aspects. For example, Lee Valley near London is one case study of building before competitions and recreationnal areas and natural park after Olympics Games.
