You can also use "Elsevier Journal Finder" or "Springer Journal Suggester". Just write the title and abstract of your manuscript and you will find suitable journals with the impact factor, time of reviewing process, open choice .....etc.
I’m not quite sure about their recent turn-over time as it varies from time to time but these three journals are definitelty leading in architectural engineering and I’ve published in them (from my academic research point of view there are in order of importance, others may or may not agree with me):
1. ASCE’s Journal of Architectural Engineering
2. T&F’s Journal of Architectural Engineering and Design Management
3. Emerald’s Journal of Engineering, Construction and Architectural Management
Well, you may try the Malaysian Construction Research Journal. It is scopus rated and FOC. Most importantly, it accepts wide range of papers related to building construction and engineering. I once published a paper: The Adoption of Passive Cooling Strategy in Designing Public Assembly Building - A Design Typology for the Taoist Academic Centre in Tropical Climate, in this journal.
