Nanoparticles do not act selectively on cells. Their effect is that the cell is adsorbed on nanoparticles. Nanoparticle ions penetrate the cell membrane and gradually destroy it. This occurs at all concentrations of nanoparticles. For selective destruction, cancer drugs are placed in liposomes or micelles. In the body, drug molecules are selectively released into cancer cells.

As far I know nanoparticles kills cells, not only cancer cells but all.
