or otherwise biorad has a more user friendly software image Lab, that it is free for all the people that has their instruments for image acquisition but i'm not sure if can be freely downloaded just by registration in their site.

of ocurse in your gel you need to load samples with known quantity to use as reference.

You can use quantity 1 from biorad

Image J and Image Lab work very good for quantification.

I Did not have any problem with Image j
