Could you assist me in calculating application rates of mulch for potted experiments?

I am using pots with specific dimensions: height of 28cm, bottom diameter of 20.5cm, and top diameter of 30cm. My goal is to apply a layer of mulch that is 5cm thick (simulating field application conditions). How can I determine the appropriate amount of mulch to achieve this thickness in my pot trial setup? Thanks.
