Different longevity manipulation may be needed at different life stages:

What I discovered in my master thesis in my analysis of microarray gene expression patterns of yeast 12 hours, 18 hours, 24 hours and 48 hours past exposure to caloric restriction when compared to normal yeast growth media is that the variation in gene expression pattern at these 4 different time points (8 conditions) is much higher when compared to changes in gene expression pattern caused by knockout mutations. Therefore, I’d like to think of each individual at different time points in its life more like as a different genotype or at least transcriptase type, who’d benefit from a different set of anti-aging interventions. Anti-aging interventions, which are beneficial for a 20 year old, might be detrimental of a 70 year old. Hence, I believe we also need to stratify the development of anti aging interventions by lifespan intervals, e.g. for 20-30 year old, 31-40 year old, etc.
