I have to teach Phytopharmaceuticals Technology for bachelor degree students. This includes their active compounds, processing steps and so on. Please suggest good text books to teach this subject. Thank you.
Right now I'm looking for a book entitled Phytopharmaceutical Technology by List, P. H & Schmidt P. C., 1989, CRC Press. Does anyone know where can I get that e-book?
You should refer Trease and Evans- Pharmacognosy for this purpose as it has all the categories described in detail. It is perfect for Bachelor degree students. You should have in your collection the following books for your reference:
1. Stahl E (1967). Text Book of Chromatography, 2nd Ed., Springer-Verlag, Berlin.
2. Wagner H, Baldt S. (1996). Plants Drug Analysis, Springer Verlag, Berlin Heidelberg,
3. WHO (1989). The Validation of Analytical Procedures used in the Examination of Pharmaceutical Materials, WHO/Pharm. 89541, rev 2 Genf,.
4. Harborne JB (1973). Phytochemical Screening Methods In: A Guide to Modern Techniques of Plant Analysis. 1st Edition, Chapmann and Hall, London.1973
5. Pharmacognosy by Trease and Evans
6. Tyler's Herbs of Choice—The Therapeutic Use of Phytomedicinals
7. Medicinal Plant Alkaloids: An Introduction for Pharmacy Students
Stephen K Sim.
8. Medicinal plant glycosides- Stephen K. Sim
9. Phytochemical Methods A Guide to Modern Techniques of Plant Analysis
A.J. Harborne
10. Phytochemistry - JB Harborne 1969
11. Plant Secondary Metabolites- Harinder P. S. Makkar, S. Siddhuraju, Klaus Becker

Other than these, I am attaching some matter which will be relevant in due course for your students interested in herbal drug technology and isolation studies of phyto-pharmaceuticals.
