For example, if you look at the Scopus content coverage here https://www.scopus.com/sourceid/145581 then you can see that the average number of published papers is reasonably steady.

I point this out because I think that the ‘action’ by Clarivate to delist numerous titles from the WoS list has primarily to do with the ‘explosion’ of special issues published. The enormous increase in published papers makes everybody wonder whether the quality and scientific rigor can be/is maintained by the various journal titles. Anyway, back to your question, most likely the journal you mentioned will not be delisted and is a reasonably safe choice.

PS. Rightfully so or not but publishing too many papers in journals belonging to MDPI, Frontiers and Hindawi (all exclusively dedicated to open access publishing) is considered by some as less reputable than papers published in journals of Springer, Elsevier, American Chemical Society (ACS), Oxford University Press (OUP), etc. This might be a reason to choose another journal in your case. Keep in mind that there are numerous subscription-based journals where you can publish for free (if you decline the open access option).
