I have some samples whose structures I want to elucidate. I therfore need relevant information such as postal addresses, email addresses, phone numbers, websites etc of laboratories, institutions, companies where compounds isolated from plants can be identified. I will like to know the cost of running full NMR (proton, carbon, 2D), FTIR and MS, and also how long it takes to get this done in those establishments. Thanks in advance for your assistance.

The information you have provided above is incorrect asI am aware that the 400 MHz NMR at the Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife is working. From the tone of your comment it would appear that you have had some issues with some of the labs I mentioned in my post before now. It is pertinent to point out that the observation over the years is that most samples sent for NMR analysis were not pure compounds which could account for the impracticability you mentioned in your post. I should point out, though, that I am not involved in the day-to-day running of the laboratory but I know a number of people who have used the service successfully. Moreover, I have made inquiries about the current state of the equipment.

Sir, I tend to agree with the suggestions that pointed to foreign Institutions. I utilized the facility at University of Cape town South Africa sometime ago, u can look them up or try out that of Rhodes University as suggested above.
