Inhibitor film is very important for the corrosion resistance of mild steel. which aspects of inhibitor film do you want to analyse? There are some analytic methods as follows:
(1) Characterization of corrosion resistance
The protectiveness of inhibitor film could be analyzed by electrochemical measurement, such as polarization curve, EIS, et al.
(2) Thickness measurement

the best analysed method for the inhibtor fim is scannig electron microscopy coupled with eds, to under stand the mechanism, we can used the EIS and a theoretical quantum calculation.
