Despite partial display of the peripheral outlines in ventral views I agree with the identification. Due to thriving in open marine environment, this index form usually lacks the association of other contemporaneous zonal/subzonal indices of shallow shelf facies (e. g. Plummerita hantkeninoides or Pseudoguembelina hariaensis) as expected in the warm shallow Tethyan realm. Upper Cretaceous deposits of Northern Tethys may contain these forms scarcely. I suggest more intense search.

Photos B and C illustrate doubtless A. mayaroensis. In photo D the last chamber shows anomaly. Despite this, the test other caracteristics are consistant with those of A. mayaroensis species. However, the Photo A is far from A. m. ; we need an additional side view to perform a better identification of this specimen.

Images B and C show the typical features of A. mayaroensis, but A and C represent two different species. A has four chambers in the last whorl and can be assigned to Globotruncana aegyptiaca. However additional illustration for the side view is needed to confirm the identification. Image D almost resembles Globotruncana linneiana.

Due to certain technical problems on previous occasion I could see only partial views of figs B and C, and on which I made my initial opinion. By now I find complete outlines of all the four figures (A-D) displaying ventral views. In my opinion, Figs B and C represent mature individuals and D representing gerontic individual of Abathomphalus mayaroensis while Fig. A with sub square peripheral outline, apparent lack of double peripheral keels in the ultimate chamber and absence of a peripheral notch between ultimate and penultimate chambers tends to differ from A. mayaroensis. Nevertheless, the occurrence of 'species D' in the assemblage suggests the possibility of other contemporaneous index forms with wider environmental tolerance (like Racemiguembelina fructicosa and Pseudotextularia deformis).
