The answer is yes - Lyells's syndrome is more associated with drugs - there are some alternative diagnosis to consider such as SSSS (staphyloccocal scalded skin syndrome) - so for the diagnosis you have consider drugs and bacteria (as a sequel of a viral infection)
In our patient there was an history of recurrent Stevens–Johnson Syndrome during upper respiratory infections. The patient developed then Lyell's Syndrome during chickenpox. In this case, no drugs were taken before.
