I came to know that many research groups have report single crystal data of chalcones and pyrazolines, but not found any specific method. I have tried methanol and other co-solvents to grow single crystal by slow evaporation of solvents, results failed to grow single crystal.
As I crystallized such kind of moieties, I suggest you to grow in Touene+Acetonitrile(dropwise till dissolve) or Choromethane. Probably you'll get good quality crystals.

Take your mixture in to a conical flask (small) add toluene to it, heat it till bubbling. Now add acetonitrile dropwise to get the clear solution. Filter the solution and keep it for evaporation in a small test tube(filter in to a small test tube). With in week you'll get the good quality crystals probably.
