you are looking at fully unrelated properties. There maybe a relation in special cases, like aromatic compounds are often more toxic than their aliphatic counter parts.

The colour of something (i.e. its UV-Vis spectrum) is not very correlated to its biological activity. For example, not all 'red things' are good at transporting oxygen around your body, mercury sulphide (a blood-red inorganic compound) is in fact fairly toxic.
