I would like some expert advice about the amount of astaxanthin produced by Haematococcus pluvialis during the stressfull conditions. Therefore, I would appriciate for the information about the possible labs in Europe that conduct such kind of research. The names of scientists either indication of institutions would be a big help for me to carry my research.

I did my PhD in lipid and carotenoid biochemistry applied to fish nutrition and worked with Haematococcus pluvialis. At that time we set up our HPLC system and I had the help of Bjørn Bjerkeng at AKVAFORSK, Norway. Not sure if he is working in the field nowadays.
You could contact The Nutrition Analytical Service at Stirling University, UK. They are experts in lipids and carotenoids. Definitely you should contact James Robertson Dick
