I am solving a triple tube heat exchanger on ANSYS Fluent. The exchanger has 6 bodies. 3 fluids separated by 3 walls. Each wall is of the same thickness. I had named those walls (bodies) and so they showed up in the boundary condition in Fluent. I had switched on the SHELL CONDUCTION option for those three walls and given the thickness. My problem is apart from those 3 walls there are many other walls and shadows. Do I need to switch on shell conduction for all of those walls ? If yes then do I also need to give the thickness for them?
One last thing, if I am switching on the shell conduction then even coarse meshing on the walls would do? Or should I refine it?

How committed are you to Fluent? I've found CFX easier for CHT simulations.
I have never used CFX. I use fluent (CFD) mostly. If its not very much different from fluent then I might try simulating on CFX as well.
Sorry I can't really help with Fluent, but I know that in CFX you would simply model the solid and fluid domains together, mesh them as a single part (with multiple bodies) and then define the different domains as either solid or fluid within CFX-pre. It will automatically assign certain faces as fluid-solid interfaces, and then you can just proceed.
If you are sure that only there are three walls in your domain for which you have shell conduction,No other walls in the domain, you have to check those additional walls,may be something wrong in the naming or boundary definition .If those are physical walls, you do not need to do anything on that.you can go ahead. Fluent will write wall shadow for each wall definition.
