I have a problem but I don't know how to solve it.
I am working on interaction of the wake an elliptic cylinder with boundary layer on a flat plate.
The geometry are included of an elliptical cylinder and a flat plate inside a rectangular duct. A smooth flat plate, with a thickness of 20 mm, a length of 1200 mm, and a width of 380 mm, was installed 75 mm above the lower surface of the rectangular duct. The length of channel is 1.68 m.
I want to know how can I produce my geometry and mesh in the COMSOL?
Sanchita Amin and Dipak Kanti Das, numerically simulated wake-flat plate boundary layer interaction at low Reynolds number. They did the same with my work in COMSOL, photo geometry and generated mesh of research Sanchita Amin is attached.
How should I solve this problem?!

first you can generate your CAD model using any CAD software (solidworks is the most easist one to use if you do not have any skills). Also you can generate it im Comsol.
then I think the attached document might help you as it is include may different step-by-step tutorial to generate different meshes for mulit-physics problems.

Also, that kind of simple geometry could be build using Tools of Comsol.
In the section "Geometry" you can find elementary objects.
Because when you import objects from CAD, generation of mesh will be complicated.
