and Innovation Office (NRDIO) conduct the industrial research and development projects in the framework of Indian-Hungarian Science and Technology Cooperation Programme to promote bilaterally scientific collaboration between Indian and Hungarian scientists. They have invited proposals for Joint Research projects in bilateral mode involving scientists & technologists from India and Hungary on the following scientific areas:
· Biotechnology, including agriculture and food industry
· · Renewable energy
I am working on a refrigeration system using renewable energy for storing food products.

There are 2-different approaches to the use of Solar Energy in Refrigeration System.
Either:
1. The Solar Energy is collected via photovoltaic panels and converted to electrical energy which is then used to power the compressor of a Vapour Compression Refrigeration System using CHFCs or HFCs refrigerant as working fluid.
OR
2. The Solar Energy is collected and directly converted into heat Energy via Solar-Thermal Collectors. This heat energy from the Solar-Thermal Collectors is directed upon and used to power the generator of a Vapour Absorption Refrigeration System using Aqua-Ammonia refrigerant as working fluid.
It all depends on which application you to use the system for.

A scientific group in Odessa (Ukraine) is developing a system for producing water from atmospheric air using absorption water-ammonia refrigeration machines. The source of thermal energy for the absorption water-ammonia refrigeration machine is solar collectors. Water condensate is obtained by reaching a temperature below the dew point. Ammonia as a refrigerant also allows you to get temperatures below 0 degrees Celsius. For example, for cooling foods.

Once any designed Cooling system reaches the dew point, atmospheric water vapour suspended in the air will begin to condense though the quantity of the condensing water vapour, will largely depend on how humid the air is at a particular time and at a particular place.
Other factors could be: air velocity, ambient temperature, atmospheric pressure, etc.
This phenomenon is clearly seen from the droplets of water dropping from the condenser side of an air-conditioning system while in operation.

We have previously worked on utilizing solar energy and heat pump to produce fresh water by merging them together. 1- Use the heat of the condenser in the heat pump system to produce water vapor in the humidifier 2- Use of the evaporator in the heat pump system to condense the vapor produced from the humidifier. The results were excellent
