I am utilizing the software tool colandr (https://www.colandrcommunity.com/) in the screening process for a scoping review with a pretty short time-line. To extradite the ranking process of the AI I have made use of the boolean string supporting the AI learning.

I inserted quiet a few key terms from my search, so I was wondering if the amount of words in relation to each other makes any difference(?), as the AI would give more weight to terms more often present.

With the intention to filter in a first step preferably for secondary research/reviews of any type I added a section with related terms and their synonyms (e.g. "review" OR "systematic" OR "meta" OR "reviews" OR "systematic synthesis" OR "synthesis").

My question is now, should I repeat the word e.g. "review " a few times to give it more weight for the AI?

I have started to do so in the end of the boolean string, see file "boolean string colandr.pdf"

thanks for any input or thoughts
