Is this true:
If sum of two contour maps (say map A and map B) of the same physical quantity remains constant (say C) at every point of the field, then a contour line labeled m in A must coincide with the one labeled C-m in B and so on.

Your statement is true. Indeed,
if ∀(x,y,z) ∈ D: A(x,y,z)+B(x,y,z)=C=const, (*)
and ∀(x,y,z) ∈ L⊂D: A(x,y,z)=m=const,
then from (*) ∀(x,y,z) ∈ L: B(x,y,z)=C-m=const.
