Hi there,

I'm wondering if anyone has come across scientific peer-reviewed papers that have critically evaluated various cognitive techniques in identifying and modifying automatic thoughts, intermediate beliefs and core beliefs? (NOT the effectiveness of CBT as a whole, as there are loads of this).

For example, the effectiveness of thought records, role-playing between therapist and client, etc. We're aware that these techniques are typically used in therapy, but I can't seem to find literature that supports/refutes these techniques.

Thanks a million in advance!
