I need to know the aim of your project? do you have a smart aim? you gonna publish that in a book? article? thesis?

Well your work is in a very broad area, I would suggest to classify secondary metabolites for example into 3 groups then focus on one group you think that benefit your country? or human health.

I'm working on virtual screening of natural compounds from ZINC database. I have identified about 30 hits and I just want to classify the hits into groups of

i) polyketides/fatty acids

ii) terpenoids/steroids

iii) phenylpropanoids

iv) alkaloids

These are the common 4 groups of secondary metabolites. I have make my study on the structural characteristics of each groups and tried to classify my hits into the groups but I need someone to tell me whether I'm doing it right or not.

I would admonish you to classify them as major classes of secondary metabolites( steroids, terpenoids, flavonoids, alkaloids, fatty acids) and minor classes saponins, tannins etc. You need to read papers published by top authors in Nps like David Newman and his group , Harvey et al published in NPR and other others. Reviews by Ntie-Kang et al, 2013 (NPR) etc
