Currently, I am working on the filter design. I have made several filters. All of them seem to generate a good shape signal. But I am confused about how to determine which one is the best among them. Is there any way to quantitatively prove the performance of the filter?
Note: I have no reference in the signal. The data was gotten from the real-world experiment.

actually, I tried low pass Butterworth filter, moving average filter, etc. So, after I get the transfer function, I check the linearity, what can be concluded from there?
