I am currently working with tumor xenograft models in balb/c athymic mice, and I want to know if the number of cells injected to induce xenograft has any significant role in tumorigenesis.

Fewer cells cannot induce a tumor, but what happends if we inject more cells than the required number?

Will it be able to make a tumor? If it produces a tumor, will the tumor have any drug responsiveness or altered drug responsiveness?
