I have modeled a RC frame in Abaqus. As well as that , i have defined CDP properties of concrete into my model based on Mander relations ( Confined Concrete ) and have modeled the compression behaviour of concrete.
The issue i have faced is that , it has not been mentioned the tensile behaviour in Mander Stress-Strain relation ,although there is a formula for maximum tensile strength ( f Prime t=7.5*sqrt(f prime c)) .Because, i would probably have to earn the cracking strain.
And how to calculate the tensile damage parameter?
May i use anyone help?

Well in actual fact , i have used the model suggested by Collins and Mitchell.
Overall , we have two main linear branch in tensile behaviour contained a simple linear and tension stiffening.
As a description of this model , it should be noted that for linear branch we can use the basic relation of stress-strain until it reaches to stress corresponding cracking strain , since then we would probably have to use the relation suggested by Collins and Mitchell because of the tension stiffening
I have modeled CDP model in compression by the relations suggested by mander for confined concrete .
In CDP tensile behaviour , we define confined concrete as the same that of unconfined concrete using the model that i mentioned above.(Collins and Mitchell)
