Malignization is the end product of many different genes. They follow different pathways and therefore their transcriptome is different. All these genes are related with proliferation and or resistance to apoptosis. They share these characteristics although their pathway may be diverse.
But there is one common characteristic to all of them: the pH gradient inversion. There is no malignancy nor metastasis that does not show pH gradient inversion. If you are looking for a shared feature in all tumors despite its mutations or pathways look into the pH issue.
