Can you suggest any publication dealing with changes in channel subunit stoichiometry after knock down of a subunit?

Hello,

I'm actually looking for a publication in which they demonstrate that in a heteromeric channel formed of two subunits A & B, if they knock down A for example, then the channel will still be present but with only the B subunit (homomeric).

Do you have any publication in mind about this subject?
