I want to collect a series of apoptosis markers for my research. There are several apoptosis markers I know, and they are not exhausting. I need your contribution to add to to maker a full list. These are the ones I know.
caspase-3 and caspase series, TUNEL staining.

there are many markers to describe the apoptotic process. However, you have first to recognize two main pathway: a) intrinsic apoptosis (triggered mostly from inputs coming from the cell); b) extrinsic apoptosis (in which the process starts from environmental cues. You can also identify: 1) initiating factors; 2) pro and anti-apoptotic factors (like BAd, Bim, Bak, Bad, Bc-l2, Bc-xl, etc..); effectors (caspaces, parp etc..). The roster is indeed quite complex.
