Science is literal while religion metaphorical and survival heuristic. Religion is a form of philosophy. MAYBE what was once philosophy becomes science.
Sometimes we believe in things that we can demonstrate with experience and reason. This is very common, because we can not prove everything in our lifetime. This does not mean that all what you know through belief belongs to religion and all what you know through experience/reason belongs to science.
