I have noted that, there are K2O and Na2O (Fluxing agent) are present with good amount in river sand. Can we use that in ceramic industry as a melting flux. If not, than Is there any process to improve characteristics of sand so we can use it in ceramic industry.

Normally one or more chemicals called fluxes are added to the sand when used in ceramic industries. However, these fluxes lower the melting point of the ceramics, and result in a softer, easier to work . The most common fluxes are sodium carbonate (“soda”) and potassium carbonate (“potash”) and as their different forms are present in river sand ( k2o and na2o)then, it is preferable to use it in ceramic industry.

To answer your question it is necessary know the chemical composition of this sand.
If it is quartz, then answer is "no". Silicon oxide is not a flux. However, if the main component of this sand is feldspar, then answer is "yes". In any case to make this answer more correct it will be fine to look to chemical composition of sand and all the another components of ceramic. Also it is necessary to know prescriptiont of the ceramic mass.

It would be important that you make a little test with the final formula with several percentages of your sand since you can get eutectic points than can help or not.
