I want to do simple RT- PCR for some genes. so, can I use the primer seq. which are used for real time PCR for these genes. The product size of real time PCR is generaly v. small. so if the product size is within detection limit (on gel) . so can Iu se the same seq. for simple RT- PCR?
I sometimes check my RT-qPCR products on gel, just to check there is only one band. I just load the content of one well of the 96 well plate on an agarose gel (with 1X sample buffer). So I guess your primers should work. Maybe you will have to work out the exact conditions, because you will not use the Sybr Green mix, I guess.

You can check your PCR product on agarose gel, However you may may not separate primers dimers and the expected amplicon for product below 100bp.
