Can we use protein membrane signalling mechanism in the bacteria be used for energy production?

actually i want to work in energy production through microbes and in this aspect protein membrane signalling mechanism can be use for the production of energy in bacterial fuel cell.

Very unlikely if the overall energy balance is not positive: they are ATP-dependent or in a gradient of ionic potential that required energy spending. Then, depends of the energy source.
