For Validation of FEM results, you can use either experimental results or Analytical/Theoretical results

In my case, I am dealing with eccentricity (static and dynamic) faults in Line start permanent magnet synchronous motors (LSPMSM). I tried to find a good paper explaining how to create such a fault but I couldn't. There is no way to compare the results with analytical ways because it is already a new model!

In mechanical, defects like cracks are done in FE model and analysed.
