API 650 standard normally is used for design of storage tanks in petroleum industry.
I want to use it for 3% caustic soda solution at 65°C temp.
It is 50000 liter sedimentation tank
It is important what you would like to design from the code. Thickness of the tank would increase with increase in operating pressure although storage tanks are not meant for high pressure service at all. What is important here, is to find out the right material of construction, which for caustic soda is generally nickel alloy. Check out the below link

If the tank levels are controlled then your operating tank volume must be kept within the HLL (high liquid level) and LLL (low liquid level). HHLL and LLLL are usually kept ~ 100 mm above the HLL and below LLL respectively.
There is nothing in the codes to preclude using an ASME pressure vessel as a tank. ASME BPVC come in at 1 atmosphere (gauge), or 2psi for PVHOs (which this is not). Be aware this will come out heavier than an API 650 tank.
