I would like to determine the main & interaction effect of leadership style, school culture and school innovativeness towards school performance. I will be using factorial ANOVA for my analysis.
My independent variables (IV) are (leadership, school culture and school innovativeness). My dependent variable (DV) is school performance. My IVs are categorical variable and measured by 5 point likert scale.
Through my reading, I have discovered that Factorial ANOVA is used for independent variables with categorical and nominal. However, for my study, the independent variables are ordinal value (strongly disagree, agree, neutral, agree, strongly agree). Is it still fine to use Factorial ANOVA for my study.
If yes, how to run the analysis in SPSS?

The second question which u asked about SPSS: it is very lenghty to define the full process to use the FA in SPSS but if u go in SPSS help and type your question there, It will show you the full process with screenshots.
Categorical regression such as proportional odds model for ordinal regression could be applicable in this case.

Hi David, thanks a lot for feedback. My DV is interval variable. Hence, i think logistic regression is not appropriate for my analysis.
