I think YES if you are using a constant timing (constant number of frames per second, minute ..) but NO if you use advance timing (i.e. exponential number of frames per second) it will not work because the run number will be increasing linearly while the time increases exponentially.

Constant timing can be a good choice for you. I am working on OCA 15Pro (dataphysics)

@ Ahmed Amer, Thanks for your response sir. actually, i am not able to find any article or paper where dynamics is reported in terms of run number.everybody reports with time only. 

I am also working on OCA 15 Pro. what if, instead of using constant timing, one is using as fast as possible and action duration till user breaks (since substrate is highly hydrophilic and contact angle reaches to less than 5 degrees within 2 or 3 sec), even then also run number can be reported or is there any conversion possible?

Yes you are right; I also did not see any article using the Run Number. If you are using "as fast as possible" this mean the # of frames per second is the maximum and it depends on the computer speed also. ِAnyway, If you are want to compare measurements of different samples and want to unify the x-axis for comparison, I suggest you to normalize the time axes simply by dividing the time on the final time, for all samples.

Normalize time = t / t-final  as shown in the attached link
